Costumes for filming
Costumes for our Music Video
Costume ImagesWe have decided to dress our male in black jeans and a black top. The colour symbolises the fact he hasn't got a soul and he's emotionally drained. The colour black stereotypically symbolises death and angry therefore will interlink with the hidden message within our lyrics.
For our female actor Sara will be wearing stereotypical London clothing. This is to represent the location of the music video as well as the generation. The female clothing will also be flattering showing either shoulders or legs, this is to attract the males, this is called male gaze.
The clothing will juxtapose from the bedroom to the streets. Where the strew clothing will be fashionable the bedroom and dancing scene will be in relaxed clothing such as leggings and baggy tops. This represents she is relaxed and it's easy to break his heart.

There are elements of the song where the lyrics cross phrase, for example in the course the lyrics sing 'Man Down' and the 'Rum Pa Pa Pum' lyrics fade in directly after therefore we can't have the lip syncing with both bits, therefore we need to use a quick cut to change from the lip syncing to some footage of the narrative before returning back to the live performance because then the vocals and footage will work along each other without crossing over to much. We have an even amount of performance and narrative in order for the audience

to stay engaged and enjoy the music video. When filming the the public places we need to make sure the public don't just stop and watch us filming, if this was to happen we will need to keep filming in orderer to get a natural shot. If the public watches it will make the music video look set

and won't look like a real storyline, this will effect the narrative and realism of this. Recently the train system keep going on strike therefore we will need to double check the timings and locations of both tubes and trains the day before in order we get the right transport at the right

time. We are looking forward to filming the footage for our music video and start editing it.
